Vietnam and HCM City will always offer their whole-hearted support to Cuba’s national protection and development cause, says Chairman Le Hoang Quan of HCM City.
Quan showed deep gratitude to the great assistance from Cuba and its leader Fidel Castro to Vietnam’s national liberation struggle during his reception for a visiting Cuban Communist Party delegation led by Poliburo member and Vice President of the Council of State Salvador Valdes Mesa on June 2.
Salvador Valdes Mesa appreciated the city’s socio-economic achievements over the past years.
He also affirmed the close and sustainable solidarity between Cuba and Vietnam and hope the ties between the two countries as well as between the localities of Cuba and HCM City will grow not only in political and diplomatic but also in economic and trade.
