The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong yesterday and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Singapore’s Sembcorp Development Company Kelvin Teo had meeting & dicussed the Vietnam-Singapore Creative Park project.
Accordingly, the project which Sembcorp Development Company is main investor will be home to multi-disciplinary scientists and experts for testing products and samples.
Mr. Kelvin Teo proposed with the city chairman Phong that the project needs to 50- 100 hectares of land for building, and locates nearly the city center’s metro to service traveling demand of staffs.
Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong said that HCMC Hi- Tech Industrial Park could implement desires of Singapore Company. He also handed over Management Board of HCMC Hi- Tech Industrial Park and relevant departments and agencies to negotiate procedures on land rent and technology transfer. If the negotiation is completed soon, HCMC will license investment certificate for the company in October, 2016 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Sembcorp Development Company’s investment into Vietnam.
