On September 20, Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong received outgoing Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Fukada Hiroshi.

At the meeting, Ambassador Fukada Hiroshi said that he is very happy when Japan has implemented many important projects in Vietnam and HCMC, especially in the field of urban traffic.

Mr. Fukada Hiroshi added number of Japanese investors in HCMC continues to increase with larger scale. Therefore, he expressed his hope that the city will create favorable conditions for Japanese investors to do business in HCMC.

In addition, Mr. Fukada Hiroshi said that the city should further promote administrative reform, pay attention to in-depth manufacturing technology and improve quality of human resource.

Highly valued important contributions of Mr. Fukada Hiroshi in his term in Vietnam, Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong stressed that Mr. Fukada Hiroshi has excellently completed his missions in Vietnam and made important contributions to the well-developed cooperation relation between Vietnam and Japan.
