Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee receives Hungarian Ambassador

On November 16, Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan received Mr. Ory Csaba, Hungarian Ambassador to Vietnam.


At the meeting, Mr. Ory Csaba stressed that Hungary always attaches importance to traditional relationship and multi-faced co-operation with Vietnam, saying that he is impressed at big achievements of the Party, State and people of Vietnam.
 
Apart from promoting diplomatic relations with Vietnam, he said, the Government of Hungary wished to open national trade office of Hungary in HCMC to create favorable conditions of Vietnamese and Hungarian businesses to promote co-operation in fields of education and economy. Mr. Ory Csaba expressed his hope that students of HCMC and Southern Vietnam will participate into scholarship program (over 100 scholarships) of Hungarian Government in the coming time.

 
He added that the Government of Hungary is always ready for promoting co-operation and sharing its experience with HCMC in fields of waste water treatment, infrastructure, etc. He believed that Vietnam-Hungary co-operation relation has been strongly developed.

In his part, Mr. Le Hoang Quan highly valued precious assistance of the Government and People of Hungary for Vietnam in the process of construction and protection of the nation.

As a driving force for the economic development of the whole country, HCMC is attaching importance and looking forward to promoting deep and wide relation with many countries, including Hungary. Mr. Quan hoped that Mr. Ory Csaba during his tenure in Vietnam will further promote co-operation programs between HCMC and localities of Hungary, especially in economy, trade and education to bring more practical benefits to both countries’ people.
