At the meeting, Mr. Lee Hae Sun said CJ identified Vietnam as a big market and huge potential to strengthen its investment in the future. Mr. Lee said CJ is now paying a special attention to equitization process of the State owned enterprises in HCMC and would like to participate in his process, especially at Vissan Company.

He stressed that if becoming a share holder of Vissan, CJ will expand international market through exporting Vissan branded products. In addition, CJ will deeply join in the livestock sector from supplying animal breeding, feeds to singing product offtake agreement and product processing, etc.  

With this closed production chain, origin traceability of products will be more easier in the context of higher queries of consumers on food safety.

In return, Mr. Le Hoang Quan said that Vissan is one of the largest food processing companies in HCMC and is trusted by consumers. Vissan is a regular participant of market stabilization program in peak consumption season, etc. Mr. Le Hoang Quan added that Vissan will be equitized in 2015, and CJ can directly work with Vissan to co-operate or buying shares accordance with the regulations.
