On January 26, Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan received the outgoing, Hungarian Ambassador to Vietnam Mrs. Torda Eszter
At the meeting, Mr. Le Hoang Quan congratulated Mrs. Torda Eszter on her excellent job in Vietnam. In her term in Vietnam, Mrs. Torda Eszter has made ceaseless efforts in promoting Vietnam-Hungary friendship and co-operation relations, especially in fields of economy, diplomacy, culture, environment protection and scholarships for Vietnamese students to study in Hungary.
The Chairman expressed his hope that Mrs. Torda Eszter, at any position, will continue to make more practical contributions to development of both countries in general and between HCMC with localities of Hungary in particular.
Mrs. Torda Eszter affirmed that Hungary pays a special attention to enhancement of Vietnam-Hungary friendship and comprehensive co-operation relationship. The opening of Hungarian Consulate General in HCMC in the coming time will further promote the relations between both countries.
