At the meeting, Associate Professor and Ph.D Nguyen Manh Hung – Headmaster of Nguyen Tat Thanh University – said after 20 years of operation, the university has achieved outstanding results with 15 faculties, 54 multi-disciplinary training programs.

The training programs of Nguyen Tat Thanh University are accredited by AUN-QA standard evaluation. In 2016, the university has honored with QS 3 stars certificate, of which its teaching and studying activities have been awarded 5 star certificate. In addition, the university has been building human resource training plan to meeting the demands of foreign directed investors (FDI) such as Samsung, Germany, Korea, etc.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong highly appreciated targets of visions of Nguyen Tat Thanh University. He suggested that the university continues linking with institutes and businesses to promote new startup impetus, pursuing innovation and creativity, improving proportion of human capital in product value. Mr. Phong stressed that the city’s target is to establish regional and international level universities. Therefore, he said, this is the right direction in line with advanced educational development trend. He expressed his hope that this will be a catalyst for big changes of development of university education of HCMC.

On the special occasion, Mr. Phong handed over the Decision recognizing the Board of Directors and Headmaster of Nguyen Tat Thanh University in the period of 2016-2021.
