In the afternoon of February 26, a delegation led by Chairman of HCMC People’s Commttee Nguyen Thanh Phong paid a visit to family of late Labor Hero & Professor-People’s Doctor Nguyen Thien Thanh (former director of Thong Nhat Hospital) and family of Doctor-Labor Heroine Doan Thuy Ba, (former deputy Minister of Health) on the occasion of 63th anniversay of Vietnamese Doctor’s Day (February 27 1955-February 27 2018)
In a visit to family of late Prof. Nguyen Thien Thanh, Mr. Phong expressed his deep gratutide to Prof. Thanh for his great contributions to the health care sector, process of national medical development. Mr. Phong said that Prof. Thanh’s achievements have contributed to the process of national construction and innovation.
Mr. Phong expressed that Pro. Thanh’s talent and medical ethic of is a good example for generations of doctors. Mr. Phong also wished faimly of Late Prof. Thanh good health and happiness .
At the family of Doctor Doan Thuy Ba, Mr. Phong acknowledged geat contriutions of Doctor Ba as an example of the saying: “a good doctor is like an affectionate mother” to the process of taking care of people’s health and to the glorious victory of national development in general and of HCMC in particular. He encouraged Doctor Doan Thuy Ba to take care of her health and to make continous contributions to the country.
