In the afternoon of March 7, Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong recieved new Consul General of Korea Lim Jae-Hoon on a courtesy visit to the city.

At the reception, Mr. Phong expressed his delight at witnessing the well-developed Vietnam-Korea friendship and cooperation relations in general and between HCMC and localities of Korea in particular.

Mr. Phong stressed that the city always create favorable conditions for Korean people to live and work in HCMC. This is an imporant linking bridge to promote cooperation relations between HCMC with Korea.

For his part, Consul General Lim Jae-Hoon affirmed in his term in HCMC, he will try his best to strengthen economic-cultural cooperation between both countries, espcially people to people exchange and further promote the well-developed Vietnam-Korea relations.
