At the reception, both leaders expressed their delights at well-developed cooperation relations of Vietnam and Cuba. Both leaders believed that both countries’ relations will be further deepened in the coming time.

Given that good results of both sides, both leaders also said that the achieved results are still not matched with available potential. Both sides expressed their hopes to put in place many specific cooperation programs to create new breakthroughs.

Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong congratulated Mr. Indira Lopez Argueless as new Cuban Consul General in HCMC and expressed his belief that Mr. Indira Lopez Arguelles will play the role of linking bridge to further promote cooperation relations between Cuba and Vietnam, including with HCMC. He affirmed that the city will support and create favorable conditions for Mr. Indira Lopez Arguelles to excellently complete his term in the city.
