At the reception, Mr. Phong expressed his delights at well-developed cooperation relation between Vietnam and USA. In a recent visit of President Donald Trump to Vietnam, both leaders have committed to deepen Vietnam-USA comprehensive strategic partnership.

Mr. Phong said the city as an economic locomotive of Vietnam has made postive contributions to the US-Vietnam comprehensive cooperation relation. He expressed his hope that foreign investors and experts, including US ones continue to invest in HCMC as well as to support the city to build smart city.

For his part, Mr. Daniel J.Kritenbrink said there are many opportunities for US companies to invest in HCMC. With a belief in the US-Vietnam cooperation relation in the future, he affirmed that he will postively try his best to further strengthen both sides’ cooperation,  encourage US businesses to support HCMC to build smart city.
