At the reception, Mr. Kwon Sun Taik highly appreciated the socio-economic development growth of HCMC, expressing his hope to cooperate with HCMC to build it into a smart city.
 
Mr. Kwon Sun Taik also expressed his thanks to leaders of HCMC for active support to Korean community who are living and working in the city, as well as creating favorable conditions or Daejeon to establish its representative office in HCMC.

Highly appreciated cooperation relation between HCMC and Korea, Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong said the city has inked cooperation deals with 5 localities of Korea, including a 22-year deal with Busan. Korea now ranks 5th out of foreign investors in HCMC with 1, 300 projects worth US$ 30 billion. Mr. Phong expressed his commitment to create favorable conditions for Korean enterprises to do business in the city.
