At the reception, Mr. Phong highly appreciated experience and strength of Finland in creative management and development of startup ecosystem, saying this is of the city’s most concerns.


Mr. Phong expressed his hope that Finland will send exports to support HCMC to build platforms for startup ecosystem, to share experience in construction of digital startup ecosystem, to build startup training program at universities and to support the city to build e-government.

For his part, Mr. Ilkka – Pekka Simila said the year 2018 will mark the 45th anniversary of Vietnam – Finland diplomatic relations; Finland will organize a series of events to further promote cooperation relations between Vietnam and Finland, including creativity, innovation and startup activities. This is an opportunity for Finland to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam in general and with HCMC in particular. Finland will share experience with HCMC in terms of innovation, creativity and startup, especially models of innovation and startup of Finland.
