At the reception, Mr. Phong congratulated Mr. Shim Won Hwan as CEO of Samsung Vietnam, expressing his belief that Mr. Shim Won Hwan will bring new success to Samsung Vietnam.
 
Mr. Phong highly appreciated Samsung Vietnam as one of the largest foreign investors in Vietnam with a 20% contribution to the whole country’s total export value. He said Samsung Vietnam in Saigon Hi-tech Park is now operating effectively, suggesting Samsung Vietnam to give more support to local community, to take a better care of workers, to take a close coordination with universities and institutes in HCMC to train a high quality human resource, enhancing the localization rate in the process of investment in the city.
 
Mr. Phong affirmed HCMC always makes efforts in improving its investment environment, creating favorable conditions for foreign investors including Korean ones.
