At the reception, Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong stressed Vietnam-New Zealand Comprehensive Partnership has been significantly developed in many fields. He expressed his hope that Mrs. Wendy Matthews will further promote the signing of cooperation relation between HCMC and Auckland in the coming time as well as encourage businesses of New Zealand to invest in the city.

For her part, Mrs. Wendy Matthews affirmed Vietnam-New Zealand cooperation relation has been strongly strengthened in many fields. In the coming time, HCMC and New Zealand will further strengthen cooperation in development of hi-tech agriculture (meat, milk, cashew nut). She expressed her hope that HCMC will create favorable conditions for businesses of New Zealand to invest in the city.
