In a visit to People’s Army Newspaper, HCMC based office, Mr. Phong said Vietnamese revolutionary press has made important contributions to the process of national construction and protection, People’s Army Newspaper is a part of this process. According to Mr. Phong, People’s Army Newspaper has timely reported and countered wrongful arguments of hostile forces, contributing to the public opinion formation and maintaining political stalibity, social order.

He expressed his hope,  in the context of political security being used by hostile forces to incite people to cause political instabliity, that People’s Army Newspaper continues to help readers and local citizens understand the plots of hostile forces.

In a visit to Office of People’s Army Radio and Television Center, Mr. Phong highy appreciated the role of People’s Army Radiao and Television Center in propagating policies of HCMC related to economy-society-security-national defense, especially Resolution 54 of National Assembly on piloting special policies for HCMC’s economic development.

In a visit to Cong An TpHCM Newspaper (HCMC Police Newspaper), Mr. Phong highly valued significant contributions of this newspaper to the city’s development, saying it is a prestigious media agency that has been doing a good job in propagating national security protection campaign by sharp news and stories. He expressed his hope that reporters of Cong An Tp.HCM newspaper continue to raise their political stuff and professional skills to fight against wrongful arguments from hostile forces.

On the occasion of 93 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism Day, Mr. Phong sent his congratulations to the whole reporters, soildiers, employees of media agencies; expressing his hope that these agencies continue to exchange their professional skills, to stay side by side with HCMC and the whole country to raise political ideology, maintain solidarity and protect social order and national security.
