At the meeting, Mr. Shin Dong Bin highly appreciated the potential of socio-economic development of HCMC, saying that Lotte will invest Eco Smart City project in Thu Thiem new urban area. “The project will contribute to construction of Thu Thiem as a modern urban area in the Southeast Asia”, said Shin Dong Bin. Beside Eco Smart City, Mr. Shin Dong Bin also mentioned the Metro line connecting Ben Thanh bus station to Thu Thiem new urban area. He expressed his hope that authority of HCMC will create favorable conditions for Lotte to invest.

Mr. Le Hoang Quan welcomed the Lotte Group to invest Eco Smart City project, saying that HCMC is willing to create conditions for Lotte to invest in Metro line (Ben Thanh-Thu Thiem)

The Eco Smart City project, once completed, will be a 16 ha financial, commercial complex, a 50 storey building in Thu Thiem urban area.
