Addressing at the ceremony, Consul General of Kuwait in HCMC Khaled Al – Mutairi affirmed: Vietnam-Kuwait friendship relation has continuously developed in many fields such as economy, trade, investment, education, especially oil and gas. He added investment of Kuwait in Vietnam will significantly increase in the next years, he expressed his hope that Vietnamese businesses will participate in development projects in Kuwait, contributing to promote bilateral trade exchange.

Mr. Tran Vinh Tuyen – Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee – expressed his delight at positive results of Vietnam-Kuwait cooperation relation especially political – economic and trade relation between Kuwait and HCMC.

Mr. Tran Vinh Tuyen expressed his belief that the well-developed relation between Vietnam and Kuwait and effective cooperation between HCMC and Kuwait will surely grow in the coming time. The city’s leaders will create the most favorable conditions for businesses of Kuwait to invest in the city. Mr. Tuyen hoped that Kuwait will play the role of gateway for HCMC’s businesses to strengthen trade exchange with countries of Gulf region and vice versa.
