Bank-Business Connectivity in HCMC - Bank-Business Connectivity in HCMC - Website Ho Chi Minh City
On October 10, VietinBank coordinated with HCMC Department of Industry and Trade, The State Bank of Vietnam – HCMC Branch to organize the Bank-Business Connectivity Conference. Attending the conference included Deputy Secretary of HCMC Party Committee Vo Thi Dung, Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Tran Vinh Tuyen.
A total of 21 branches of VietinBank in HCMC signed credit contract with 104 customers worth VND 32,871.5 billion with preferential interest from 6%-8%/year.
According to leaders of VietinBank, till September 2016, VietinBank’s branches in HCMC has offered loans worth of VND 210,090 billion for more than 1,770 customers. Total disbursement capital reached nearly VNd 90,000 billion with a debit balance of VND 50,000 billion.
According to leaders of State Bank of Vietnam-HCMC branch, from beginning of 2016, bank-business connectivity program in HCMC has disbursed VND 160,000 billion. It is expected till year end that total outstanding credit reaches VND 250,000 billion with preferential interest rate from 7%-8%/year.
Bank-business connectivity program was organized by HCMC People’s Committee since 2012. After 4 years, the program has been implemented at 24 districts. The program has been included in the National Target Program of the Government till 2020.
