On April 16, in a meeting with Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem, Mr. Sheik Daij bin Isa Al Khalifa – Chairman of ASEAN-Bahrain Business Council said Bahrain will open trade promotion support office in both HCMC and Hanoi to support ASEAN businesses, including Vietnamese, to boost export activities to the Gulf and Middle East.

The city’s leaders welcomed and highly valued the idea of opening ASEAN-Bahrain trade promotion office in HCMC, saying through this visit to HCMC, the council will put in place plans to strengthen trade and investment cooperation between both countries in general and between Bahrain and HCMC in particular.
