At the meeting, Mr. Liem highly appreciated Vietnam-Argentina Friendship & Cooperation relations, saying both countries’ relations have been well-developed through high profile mutual visits.

In the past time, HCMC has organized many high-profile visits as well as trade promotion programs with localities of Argentina. This will be continuously implemented in the coming time.

Regarding to cooperation relations with 03 provinces of Central Argentina, Mr. Liem praised Argentina’s enterprises in their efforts to seek investment opportunities in HCMC as well as achieved results of trade cooperation activities betwen enterprises of HCMC and of 03 provinces of Central Argentina.

He said that the city and 03 provinces of Central Argentina sill have much cooperation potential, expressing his belief that both sides have many opportunities to further promote trade and investment cooperation.

Mr. Liem expressed his hope to further strengthen cooperation with these three provinces in fields of people to people, culture, sports, etc. to further tighten the bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Argentina.

For his part, Mr. Bahl Adan Humberto thanked the city’s leaders for their warm welcome and expressed his impression at the growth speed of HCMC.  In his brief introduction about location and potential of the three provinces, he said these three provinces are estimated as the heart of Argentina with strengths in argricultural production with key products like milky products, fruit, vegetable, beet, pork, poultry meat, etc. The purpose of this visit is to seek investment cooperation opportunities with Vietnamese enterprises, especially in field of agricultural products, and to seek cooperation relations with localities of Vietnam in fields of economy, tourism, culture, etc.

On the sidele of the meeting, leaders of Entre Rios, Cordoba and Santa Fe provinces also briefed potential of their localities and expressed their desires to promote trade and investment cooperation with HCMC. It is a commitment of the three provinces to create the most favorable conditions for enterprises of HCMC to penetrate into Argentinian market and to act as a linking bridge for enterpirses of HMCM to expand to neighgoring countries like Bolivia, Paraguay, Uraguay, Chile, ect.
