On February 13, at HCMC Labor Culture Palace, HCMC Labor Federation organized family reunion program for 500 families of workers in 2015. Attending the program include Secretary of HCMC Party Committee Le Thanh Hai, President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Dang Ngoc Tung, Vice Secretary of HCMC Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha and Vice Chairwoman of HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hong.

The program is a regular event on occasion of Tet holidays for families of workers with difficult situations. At the reunion, representatives of HCMC Labor Federation said trade union has spent VND 1000 billion on taking care for 400 thousand workers on Tet holidays, of which 200,000 gift packages are given to workers.

In addition, the “sentimental ticket” program has mobilized 30,700 bus tickets worth VND 19 billion from 350 enterprises for workers to return to their hometown for Tet holidays, the program hosted get together and gave gifts for 44,000 laborers to stay in HCMC for Tet holidays with total value of VND 10 billion.
