(HCM CityWeb) – HCMC People’s Committee has just issued the implementation plan on ISO public administration, the city targets at 80% of administrative procedures of State’s administration agencies being applied quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 national standard
According to the plan, application of ISO will be implemented at 39 State’s administration agencies (15 departments and 24 districts) with 13 sectors.
The plan sets out 5 main tasks, 4 of them will be implemented by HCMC Department of Science and Technology including: providing information, training and providing guidance on building, applying, remaining, improving and announcing the official application of quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 in State’s administration agencies; inspecting the construction, application, improvement and announcement of quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 of State’s administration agencies; standardizing quality management system; supporting and providing guidance on the use of fund on construction, application and improvement of quality management system. In the meanwhile, Department of Information and Communication will be in charge of implementing ISO application.
