On February 5, The Business Association for High Quality Vietnamese Product announced and awarded titles of Vietnam high quality product 2015. Attending the ceremony include Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Quan, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, leaders of provinces-cities, consul generals of ASEAN countries together with over 500 companies.

Previously, a 3,5 month nationwide survey was conducted in 20 cities and provinces  with over 20,000 consumers (individual, household, retailer), total 522 companies were awarded the titles of Vietnamese high quality products and driving new and exciting innovative products.

On this occasion, The Business Association for High Quality Vietnamese Product announced action plan in 2015 entitled: “Conquering the market of 600 million people” of ASEAN. At the same time, The Association and Business Club also launched “Club for business angels” with 9 founding members including GIBC, Thien Long, PNJ, PepsiCo Vietnam, Dien Quang, etc.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs. Vu Kim Hanh, President of The Business Association of High Quality Vietnamese Products said the action plan of the Association in 2015 remains 5 key branches as of 2014 but put a focus on the spirits of integration and connectivity into AEC and preparing for TPP and EU.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh congratulated 552 companies, saying that these companies are deserved the trust from customers in the context of severe competition and hardships in the market. Mr. Tran Tuan Anh added that in 2015, Ministry of Industry and Trade will issue many policies and specific actions to support enterprises for sustainable development, effective exploitation of domestic market and being active in international integration. He also expressed his hope that The Business Association of High Quality Vietnamese Products will continue to play the role of linking bridge between Ministries – Departments and companies, supporting enterprises in the process of development and integration
