Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong congratulated teachers, management officials and personnel of the city on the occasion of 34 years of Vietnam Teachers’ Day. He praised achieved results of the city’s education and training sector, saying despite difficulty, the city’s education and training sector has continuously innovated and renewed its educational methods to improve quality of teaching and studying and to train manner of students. In addition, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong expressed his belief that teachers will continue devote their efforts in improving professional knowledge to contribute to the development of the city.
