The 2nd International Guitar Festival named Saigon International Guitar Festival 2015 will take place from 11-15 November 2015 at HCMC Conservatory of Music. The festival features internationally well-known guitarists from USA, France, Russia, Japan, Thailand, etc.
Besides Vietnamese guitarists, 6 famous guitarists participating in this festival as guests include Rene Izquierdo (USA), Jérémy Jouve (France), Anton Baranov (Russia), Kozo Tate (Japan), Padet Netpakdee (Thailand) and Vietnamese French artist Nguyen Thanh Hang.
With 4 concerts named Guitar Suite, Guitar Saigon, Guitar Classique and Romantique and Guitar Journey, the festival will bring special melodies of classical guitar art.
In the framework of the festival, the organizing board organizes activities for Vietnam young guitarists: presentation, seminars and workshops presented by international artists with titles: “training and fostering guitar skills”, “how to study effectively”, “how to prepare for a competition”, etc.
