On June 9, Steering Board of HCMC’s integrated circuit industry development program organized a closing ceremony of the Analog 1 chip design training course and announced a co-operation deal with CM Engineering (Japan).
The Integrated Circuit Design Research and Education Center (ICDREC) is mandated to provide training course of Analog + 1 chip design for 15 trainees. This is the maiden training plan for the IC industry for the 2013-20 period of Ho Chi Minh City. The plan aims to train engineers and to equip them with suitable skills and knowledge in an industrial working environment. The training course was very successful based on IC industrial eco-system of HCMC and most of trainees can work in outsourcing projects overseas.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Director of HCMC Department of Information and Communications Le Thai Hy congratulated 15 trainees. He stressed that the training course is a close combination between theory and practice. Trainees have learned process of chip design. This will be a prerequisite for the following training courses in the coming time.
